In HOPE , an ensemble, a choreographer, and the staff of a bar become entangled in power games, resistance, and panic. Outside, the rain swells into a flood. Within this micro-society, questions pile up: Do we need leaders or each other? What is stronger: the promise of order or the power of resistance? What to do now that we are up to our necks in water?
