EXIT MACBETH

What happens when Macbeth is no longer the protagonist of his own heroic story? Shakespeare's character Macbeth is the archetype of the alpha male. The horror cocktail of lust for power, war and murderous ambition in the original play hides something important: nature that resists the incessant violence caused by man. Images of horses, ravens, dark forests and witches keep recurring; as extras. But what happens when we make room for their perspective?

EXIT Macbeth is a visual, physical, interdisciplinary performance with stuffed animals as puppets and an absurdist and humorous twist.
